Case study · Website, SEO, lead capture

Sandstar Graphics

A Métis-owned print and design shop in Saskatoon. They needed the site to work cleanly on a phone, show up with the right service pages, and send quote requests to the shop inbox.

JTM Marketing has handled technical clean-up, SEO and AEO, and quote forms on this site since about mid-2026.

What we did

Work grouped the same way we sell it. Details below were checked on the live site on 17 October 2026.

Websites

Technical clean-up on the live site

  • Mobile viewport tag set to device-width so the homepage is not zoomed-out on a phone.
  • HTTPS with http sent to https. Homepage HTML was 121.5 KB on the 17 October 2026 check.
  • 20 files linked from the homepage HTML (10 scripts, 1 stylesheet, 5 images, 6 other).

SEO and AEO

Search setup Google and answer engines can read

  • Google Search Console connected as part of the SEO work.
  • Homepage JSON-LD types: LocalBusiness, WebSite and FAQPage.
  • sitemap.xml lists 57 URLs, including service pages such as screen printing, embroidery, signage, graphic design and custom t-shirts.
  • robots.txt allows public pages, blocks /api/, and points crawlers at the sitemap.
  • Title, meta description, canonical URL, Open Graph title, and index, follow on the homepage.
  • Service pages we opened use LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList schema.

Lead capture

Quote requests that reach the shop

  • Quote form on the contact page (name, company, email, phone, deadline, message) and on four service pages: corporate orders, business printing, Indigenous printing, and event printing.
  • Other service pages we opened (including screen printing, embroidery, signage and custom t-shirts) link to /contact instead of repeating the form.
  • Tap-to-call and a mailto address on the pages we checked.

The live homepage also includes a webchat widget. That widget is the shop's tool, not a JTM product.
